we need a

cleaner / customer service operative

at our bus station in Burnley

We're looking for a cleaner and customer service operative based within our excellent team here at Burnley bus station. 

There's a guaranteed working week of 16hrs each week, spread across Monday to Thursday, 4.30pm - 8.30pm, with the opportunity for additional hours through holiday and sickness cover.

Responsibilities include maintainence of public and private areas within the bus station and grounds, and helping our customers with their questions and queries.

we're also looking for a 

shunter / supervisor

at our depot on Queensgate, Burnley

We're looking for a driven, self-motivated person to join our team as a Shunter / Supervisor at our bus depot in Burnley. 

Our sparkling fleet of buses is the pride of Lancashire - you'll have seen Mainline and the Witchway out and about on the roads around town. Your main tasks will be the fuelling and oiling of our buses as they return to the depot - then taking them through the bus wash before parking them up ready for the next day's work.

You'll also be responsible for the day to day supervision of a team of 8 shunters and cleaners, including arranging cover when anyone is on holiday or sick.

There's a guaranteed 39 hour working week, spread over 5 evening shifts, with alternate weekends off. 

If you have experience of driving and manoeuvring large vehicles, that would be an advantage, but don't worry, full training will be offered.
