Astley Hall and Park

Astley Hall is one of the most important historic buildings in Lancashire. It has Grade I listed building status and some unique architectural features, and also houses a museum and art gallery. The hall dates from Elizabethan times but there are many later additions. The surrounding parkland has something for everyone with formal planted areas, playing fields, woodland, a lake, pet enclosure and tennis courts, bowling green and putting green. There are events held in the park in the summer.
