We'll get you there during the Northern Rail strikes

Two more days of strikes are taking place across the Northern Rail network on Tuesday 3 and Thursday 5 October.

Northern services will likely not start until after 7am on the day of the strike, and most trains will stop running before 7pm. Trains which do run are expected to be very busy, particularly around the first and last trains of the day.

As with previous strikes, we're expecting that there will be no trains running between Burnley and Manchester, and very few trains from Blackburn to and from Manchester on the days of the strikes.

There's no need to worry - wherever you're going, we'll get you there. The Witchway runs every 15 minutes between Burnley and Manchester during the daytime, and Red Express runs every 30 minutes between Blackburn, Accrington and Manchester. You can enjoy sumptuous leather seats, bags of personal space, free WiFi on board and USB charging points on most of our buses.

You should allow plenty of time for your journey on the days of the strikes, as buses and the roads between Blackburn, Burnley and Manchester are expected to be busier.

Don't forget, two can enjoy return travel to Manchester on Red Express and the Witchway for just £15. Just ask your driver for a two person return ticket.

Plan your journey on the Witchway here, and on Red Express here.
