Whalley Pickwick Festival - Thursday 7 December

Whalley's fantastic Pickwick Night takes place this Thursday, 7 December. Music from pipe and brass bands, live music on the main stage throughout the evening, children's entertainment, craft stalls, food and drink, and Father Christmas himself will all come together to create a magical evening attracting up to 5,000 visitors!

There's no better way to get to the festival than by bus. Catch Mainline M2 from Burnley or Valleyline from Blackburn - buy tickets and plan your journey with our amazing new app, Transdev Go, featuring live times from every stop.

Whilst the festival is taking place, roads around town will be closed, so Mainline and Valleyline will be using different routes around the area. Valleyline won't be stopping right in the centre of Whalley - instead, buses heading towards Clitheroe will turn right onto Accrington Road just before the reach Whalley, where there'll be a temporary stop placed for you to get on and off. Unfortunately, buses won't be able to stop at any of the bus stops between Whalley and Clitheroe from 5pm until around 10pm.

Mainline M2 won't be able to reach the centre of Whalley. Buses will continue along the A671, so you'll need to catch your bus at the stops at the bottom of Accrington Road on the A671.
