We'll get you there through the Northern rail strikes

Three more days of strikes are taking place across the Northern Rail network on Monday 8, Wednesday 10 and Friday 12 January.

Once again, there will be no trains running between Burnley and Manchester on the days of the strikes, and very few trains from Blackburn to Manchester.

But there's no need to worry! Wherever you're going, we'll get you there. The Witchway runs every 15 minutes between Burnley and Manchester during the daytime, and Red Express runs every 30 minutes between Blackburn, Accrington and Manchester. You can enjoy sumptuous leather seats, bags of personal space, free WiFi on board and USB charging points on most of our buses.

Northern services will likely not start until after 7am on the day of the strike, and most trains will stop running before 7pm. Trains which do run are expected to be very busy, particularly around the first and last trains of the day.

You should allow plenty of time for your journey on the days of the strikes, as buses and the roads between Blackburn, Burnley and Manchester are expected to be busier.

And if you like what you see and want to make the switch full-time, don't forget that you can ride all week on any of our buses for just £34! Buy from your driver or download our amazing new app, Transdev Go, from the App Store and Google Play store.

Plan your journey on the Witchway here, and on Red Express here.
