Using the bus to travel between Accrington, Oswaldtwistle and Blackburn just became a proper no-brainer! We've brought brand new, state of the art buses to the 6&7, now whizzing up and down the roads along with major improvements to the roads and facilities along the routes.
The amazing new buses are equipped with all the latest technology and creature comforts, including superfast free WIFI, USB power sockets at every seat, next-stop announcements and stylish designer interiors. What's more, they feature pioneering 'countdown' destination displays, to let you know exactly when the bus will depart!
The buses also introduce our new name – The Blackburn Bus Company – reflecting our proud heritage of serving Lancashire since 1929.
It's not just the buses that are changing. We're now zipping fast through the rush hour traffic using dedicated lanes for our buses, which have opened as part of the £40 million Pennine Reach rapid transit scheme.
